during the November Lockdown
Lockdown in England.
A second lockdown will begin in England on Thursday.
The Government guidance currently states that where you can’t
work from home, you can go to work including in other people’s homes. Click here.
Section 6 of the guidance states that people who can’t
effectively work form home can go to the workplace.
Non-essential shops are to close, but there is not a definitive
list yet of what is classed as non-essential yet. Where a non-essential retail shop
is closed it can remain open for delivery to customers and click and collect.
The Guidance states that further details on
restrictions will be set out in law and that further guidance will be
published, so things may yet change.
As with most suppliers in our industry, our order book is currently bursting, and with the run up towards Christmas we have not seen demand diminish. We want to ensure that we are able to service our customers as well as possible, so we will be continuing to manufacture and ship orders throughout the lockdown period and are still accepting order for pre-Christmas delivery.
